BIS has pinpointed a gut bacteria that may predict a child’s risk of future anxiety.

BIS has identified specific gut bacteria that may help predict a child’s future risk of anxiety. Researchers found that children with lower levels of Prevotella at one year of age were more likely to show anxiety-like behaviours at age two. This is the first time such a link has been demonstrated in children.
